Location

This teen camp is held in a recently renovated hostel in the small town of Zerain in Gipuzkoa.

Dates

This 13 day camp runs from Sunday the 25th of June at 11am, until Friday the 7th of July at 7pm.

Camp Size

We have a maximum of 34 places for this teen camp, so reserve now to avoid disappointment.

English

We work with small ratios of staff to campers to ensure English immersion as well as a family feeling.

Programme

ENGLISH, FRIENDSHIPS AND FUN

13-day camp for teens between 13 and 16 years of age in Zerain.

Making the most of the environment around us, we combine activities, projects and day trips with the experience of our monitors, creating a balance between activity and down time to adapt to the needs of the teens. We carefully measure free time and activities, because teenagers need their space while being entertained.

Through English, we work on coexistence and respect among all the participants. We play games to get to know each other and to build trust within the group, making sure every participant feels welcome and cared for. Our small group sizes allows us to give attention to everyone, and our high ratio of staff to participants makes English immersion possible. We aim to create a space with mutual respect where everyone is free to be exactly who they are without fear or judgment. 

We work with "EQ" techniques or emotional intelligence, which we learned in camps in Hong Kong, which help very effectively in conflict resolution and group cohesion.

English, respecting each other and having a great time, are three basic pillars that cement these camps on which new friendships, adventures and memories are built every year that last forever.


Immersion experience

We create a fully immersive English environment with a minimum of 85% native staff.

Projects

The teens work on a project that they are interested in throughout the camp, and then present it on the last day. This time is focused on practicing English.

The Hostel

The hostel has been recently reformed and has all of the amenities to enjoy 13 days together

Food

We will eat home cooked food in the dining room of the hostel and a hearty picnic on our excursion days.

Surroundings

The environment is ideal, with bathing areas for hot days and sheltered spaces for rainy days

Activities

During the camp there will be a variety of activities and excursions for all tastes!

Insurance

All participants are covered by our insurance for the duration of the camp.

Loving environment

We create close bonds with small ratios of children to staff, usually 6-8 children per monitor, so that every child feels cared for and supported.

More than just a camp...

Zerain is a next level camp for teens that have either outgrown Lurkoi or are finding us for the first time. Our teen camp tries to focus on creating a feeling of independence and autonomy whilst working together to create an inclusive camp that everyone wants to be a part of. As monitors, we create a general structure of camp, but allow for plenty of flexibility to adapt to the interests of the teens to allow them to make the camp their own. Days are full of various active activities, sports, games, dance, arts and crafts, music, hikes, talks, workshops, not to mention any skill or hobby that the teens would like to share between them. The camp also involves daily collaborative projects, two excursions, and of course our famous night games! All through English.
